Installation
- Prepare the Site:
- Determine the placement of your posts based on the layout of your fence or project.
- Mark the positions for each post, ensuring equal spacing for a uniform look.
- Dig Post Holes:
- Use a shovel or post hole digger to dig holes at the marked positions.
- Each hole should be approximately 600-800mm deep (about 1/3 of the post’s height) and wide enough to accommodate the post and concrete.
- Set the Post:
- Place the post in the center of the hole. Ensure that it is straight by using a level.
- For multiple posts, check that they are aligned using a string line stretched between end posts.
- Secure with Concrete (Option 1):
- Mix the concrete according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Pour the concrete into the hole, surrounding the post. Fill to ground level.
- Use a trowel to smooth the surface of the concrete and slope it slightly to allow water runoff.
- Double-check that the post is level and aligned, then allow the concrete to cure (typically 24-48 hours).
- Install with Ground Spikes (Option 2):
- If using ground spikes, drive them into the ground at the marked positions.
- Insert the post into the ground spike and secure it with screws or bolts as required.
- Ensure the post is level and aligned before moving on to the next one.
- Final Checks:
- After installation, ensure all posts are vertically aligned and stable.
- Allow concrete to fully cure before attaching fence panels or applying any load to the posts
